Just received a call from this number, a female with an American accent, who wanted to ask a few questions (a survey, not selling anything). Asked where she got my number (we are with TPS) and she said BT. I explained there s no way BT would give out (or sell) a number registered with TPS. I explained it s illegal to coldcall TPS-registered numbers. I asked if she was calling from the US, she said no, it s a UK company but the call is being made from an offshore address. I said goodbye.

I received a text message from them telling me I owed them over £90 and to contact them regarding the issue. After speaking to O2 previously, they informed me that the number did not belong to O2; and because of this, I decided to do a little digging.
