Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. Spam - claiming to be from NHS - seemed they are collecting data re Covid treatments.
Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.
