Hard to hear call apparently about an accident I had recently. I ended the call.

Calls every day around 8am - luckily I have my phone on mute at this time. Message left says they?re calling from Lloyds Banking Group (Lloyds/Halifax/BoS/MBNA/Sainsbury?s Bank etc.). I?ve never banked with any of these outfits so best guess is scam.

Phone call. Googled number - appears to be pension sales-related.

Persistent calls from this and other Southampton based number. Every time we block one number another one surfaces

Cold call from First Assist Solution - injury firm claiming to have your number from National Accident Database. Complete scam - send them an e-mail through their website http://www.firstassistsolutions.com/contact/ (use a bogus e-mail address and phone number and see how they like the runaround!!!) Alternatively just report them to the ICO for breach of Communications regulations

A new one for me. No message left. Don't know anyone in the Blackpool area so blocked it.

This number called me this morning, saying they were from uk benefit department..the person had a foreign accent, telling me that I had life insurance and would I confirm..i hun...

Called me, picked up but no answer. Then three consecutive messages, one each day asking to visit fredpay.com. utterly disgusting!

SCAM - Pre-recorded message phishing attempt talking about compromised NI number

phone rings; when I answer just hangs up. Although I do not know, I assume it s a telemarketer as a REAL company would just hang up on you without either ringing back because they accidentally cut you off or their phone number bringing up a legitimate result in a http://www.duckduckgo.com search (sorry, don t use zoogle anymore)!

Pre-recorded message saying I ve won an iPad or £500 and to press "2" to be called back in 24 hours. Blocked.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. Usual PPI rubbish. Fair play, the (Swansea-based) guy sounded as bored with it all as I am.

Note we have TPS but this number called. We answered to a foreign woman. Couldn't understand a word, although the word Survey was apparent. Politely rejected call.

It was just a missed call and I wanted to know who it was just in case its some one with a new number

Said she was calling from microsoft about my computer being hacked. She wanted me to do something on my computer according to her instruction! YEAH RIGHT!! That was not gonna happen! When I asked her some questions she just hang up on me. This person is for sure trying to cheet you so just hang up if she calls (or he like the comment before).

Rang up today asking me to answer a questionnaire on whether I was eligible for a free sofa. I politely declined as I already have a perfectly decent sofa!

Caller hung up when answered.

It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

Number used as scam claiming to be Hughes insurance.
