I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! automated message wants tocall you back so you can possibly "win" ?1000. I suspect it s so you can take part in a "survey" which will then lead to endless cold calls received the same call from a number in Ballymena

so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

Tried to bombard me about investment products saying they are GE Markets but gave them my peace of mind till cutting the line, they do not even panic if exposed.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
