SCAM / SPAM It's a home appliance insurance scam. They called my elderly mother and tried to make her think it was her existing insurance company but it's actually a fak-ish looking company called J&L Home Assist. They tried to get my mum to hand over her bank details and persisted even when she said she wasn't comfortable doing that. A bit of investigation reveals that there are a number of similar fake companies doing the same thing, all claiming to be in the Bournemouth area.
Messaged on whatsapp, supposed to be my daughter telling me that she had changed her phone number. She hasnt, was sat talking to me when it happened. number blocked

Number sent a text message saying that they ‘missed my call they where driving, who is this?’ I did not make any calls this morning. Not sure is scam or not.
A caller rang saying my card was being used abroad and to press 1 for more details. Don t know if this is genuine or not.
