some claims company allegedly from Liverpool, girl was reading a script and ignored me, when I asked them to remove me from their calling list on the 4th time she just hung up.

This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

It was auto call telling me my name was being used against a tax fraud and if i didn't press 1 the frraud would be sent in my name. I pressed 1 and was asked the reason for my call. i told him then he ask for my name which i gave then he said hang on while i look up uour name to bring up my files. Thinking about it now he may have been connecting to my phone. Could it be a scam

Rung 3 times today - claimed be from Electric gas company twice then British Gas

Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.
