Fishing call looking for non-fault car accidents to chase injury claims

The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

Received a call from this number on the 23/01/2015, apologies for missing call, please re-contact when possible?

Claimed to be from "British Telecom Services". Very likely.

Call often but don't leave voicemail so not important. Blocked

ANY call about problems with your computer, broadband, router, viruses, IP address, broadband being cut off, offering discounts, etc., IS ALWAYS A SCAM. DO NOT be intimidated...

Phoned up to tell me my computers were getting hacked and when I said I don’t have none the woman asked me why I was wasting her time lol and after me stating that she rang me she called me a time wasting idiot which I found even more funny but everyone be careful

Just called me and i answered. it was as scripted automated message that claimed to be "Linda Turner" repeatedly asking if i ve had an accident in the last 3 years that wasn t my fault. I m registered with TPS so do not know where they got my details.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy people ar

The caller said they were from Fedex and asked if we wanted to keep our account to America open. We don t have an account with Fedex. Caller passed on this telephone number and asked for someone to call them back later. That s a Post-it note that is being scrunched up and filed away...

I received two missed calls on same day from UK numbers (I am in Ireland with an Irish mobile) One already has a long complaint file against them on tellows.co.uk and was classed as a questionable recruitment company, but this one has no comments yet. However I did find this number on two other systems with comments about them trying to do a very persistent sale of Google Adwords and SEO services. I will be ignoring any further calls, particularly since they aren t leaving messages.

They ve called me 3 times now even though I never needed or asked for their service! How can I get them to stop?!!?

Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.
