This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

hard to understand operator with heavy foreign accent. Offered to stop all unwanted calls but required a lot of information. I terminated the call.
Definitely not from Redruth! It was an Indian call centre . . . from British Telecom (oh, really?) telling me I had a fault on my internet. Be very careful out there!

Number as displayed 0442155556312 African sounding accent - Not fluent in English. Asked if he was talking to mr ******* I asked him to tell me who he was without confirming my name. this number has called several times saying they are from british gas accounts, I told an asian sounding guy I wasn twith British gas so he kept asking who my supplier wa, I told him I wasn t prepared to give him that information and hung up. I had already checked this number and contacted my supplier(British gas lite) who assured me my account is an online product and under no circumstances would they phone me.
Fraud - message left by them was read by a computerised male American voice that said I had to call the local city hall urgently. Not sure why. However phone number is very similar to (0)20 3991 2845 which is a Fraud HMRC call.
