someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

SCAM - got a text tellling me my applepay had been suspended and helpfully provided a link to update my details. ot registered with Apple in anyway so assume it's a scam

I see already previous comments about calls from this UK number made to Portuguese numbers. Mine included so it must be spam. But why targeting Portugal?

Called today 03.05.23 around 13:20 stating they were from EE, however got my name wrong. Hung up the call, reported to TPS

SCAM posed as my daughter on WhatsApp and asked me to pay a bill. Very plausible but bank fraud team picked up on it thankfully

Caller said they were from O2 and had been looking through their monthly contracts to offer a 40% discount to subscribers. Said they would send an email and 2 codes to my mobile for me to claim. I don't have a contract with O2!! Also had a call from 01233 542989 this morning but couldn't answer it - seems like the same company. SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.

Caller claimed to be from a company called Medical Health Services based in Bournemouth but refused to give address, saying I could Google it. There is no such company. He said he was calling people over 60 with a special offer on an emergency alarm device.

Female automatic message claiming to be from "banking" warning about large transactions (£1000) on Amazon. Menu options 1&2 ignore or speak to someone. I checked banking online, no such transaction made or pending. Probably a scam.
