A guy with an Indian accent told me something about some crypto trading I supposedly did. I suspected a scam and hung up on him.

Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. I haven't had any kind of Accident but they just don't leave me alone, no matter how many times I tell them to take my number off they're list.

This number appeared on my son's phone. He says he does not recognise it and didn't call it. The time of the call was when he would have been in a school lesson. Charged £6.90 for 11 seconds.

I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. SCAM Called about complaints from residents about property damage and asked for my address and who lived there. I asked who was calling and he said housing. When I asked which housing his response was the housing complaints department.
This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
