Someone just called from this no. claiming to be from Amazon. They were female with a strong Indian accent. Said someone had tried purchasing a Canon camera on my account last night in Germany. None of my personal details were confirmed with me and they wouldn't let me ask any questions. Obviously their tactic is to rush you in to the "cancellation" process as it's urgent. SCAM Guy from tinder without verified photos. Pushed to move on to WhatsApp, then pushed to call, then pushed to Skype. Pushed to know my pictures were recent. Wouldn’t use any other kind of communication. Gave him my socials contacts and he called me controlling and a prick for not opening up a Skype account. Didn’t like it if I didn’t message back within 60 seconds! Not sure what was going on but felt very dodgy. I have blocked it. WhatsApp was also a business account.

Keeps calling my landline and then when I answer, they hang up! It’s ridiculous and need to be stopped.

Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.

Said it was a bank security check as my account had unknown charges added to it. Complete lie. Definitely a scam.

Another 'Microsoft' scam from Asia,put the phone down asap.

Claiming to be from BT. Saying there is something wrong with my internet and that they can fix it for me. Told me i need to be at my computer so they can talk me through what to do. They hung up when I asked if they were having a laugh!

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

This number called me claiming to be bank security and that 2 transactions had been requested from my bank. One for Amazon for £200 and an international money transfer for £900. Press 1 to authorise or hold if you haven't made these transactions. I hung up.
