Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. I moved houses not a long time ago and the above meenymberhas been trying to contact me a few times a day for the past two weeks. I answered the first phone call and it was about insurance I didn t need. When they called me agAin, I blocked the number. This number claims to be TalkTalk but is NOT. This is a common scam call where the operator asks you to follow instructions on your computer. NEVER follow these instructions nor give any personal information out. If in doubt, put the phone down. TalkTalk has no way of knowing if you have a virus or whether other people are using your broadband.

Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. I said "I won t speak to you until you provide me with your company number from Companies House". He went quiet then tried to give me "01482489010"
