Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. 2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..
Received calls from this number and 01156470868 within minutes of each other; neither produced an response from the caller when answered. Annoying! Blocked both for my sanity and peace from telemarketers, frauds and scammers. Hopefully the 'Cold-calling; legislation comes in soon!

This number has called several times, including 9 calls today. Young man called Chris - claiming he’s an energy advisor in this area. Answered once - told him I’m not the property owner and he hung up. Just answered - told him I’d already spoken to him and he just said “nice talking to you” and hung up.
