This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Asian guy named David,Asked for my mum as he was her grandson, giving 01619326141, to call him back. Asked what he was doing in Manchester(recognised dialling code)as i thought he lived in Liverpool. Told me he just moved. Kept him on phone for 5 mins before telling him that that would make him my son that i knew nothing about. Said that couldn t be possible, he then said why not was i impotent. Told him i got it cut off in an accident 45 years ago then he hung up, lol.s

These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I do NOT understand why TPS, ICO, or anyone else seems to give a proverbial **** about the nuisance these people are when you have taken every precaution to avoid them.

Tells you they are BT and ask you to turn off your internet. When asked how they prove they are BT they rang off!

Asking about my life insurance, very pushy, didn't listen to me. I hung up and blocked number.

No answer and leaves no messages

A scouser John called and said he was calling from property services ltd... or something, and was calling to see if I qualified for government subsidy. He was nice enough, but it worried me a bit that he knew my name and had my address. Politely asked him to remove me and do one.

Says from a debt consolidation company called universal credit. Claims my details passed via fax and wanting me to set up an IVA! I have no debt. Scam avoid

Calls my number 3 maybe 4 times a day leaves no voicemail. Drives me crazy!

Very helpful gentleman came to see me and checked over all of my paperwork to help me identify if I have a warranty. I did already have warranty and he informed me of this. Due to the honesty I have kept the number for future
