This call was an automated voice call and claimed to be Amazon and stated that there had been a larger than usual claim on my credit card. It’s obviously a scam and I have reported it to Amazon.

this number rang me told me they were Scottish gas and said that my dad had gave my number in a shopping centre when I told them I doubt that cause my dad don't go shopping and he would t give my number out she laughed and hung up

Automated called stating that it was HMRC and that i had committed tax fraud and there was a warrant out for my arrest and to please press 1 to resolve this issue

I have received several calls from this number.

Had two calls from Anshul re energy supply for village hall. Thought we'd check it out before saying anything to him, or giving him the number of the person really responsible for gas and electricity. Must have got our details from teh charities commissio

Called back with a 141 prefix and there was a very generic recorded message saying they will be in touch again shortly. No indication of name/company

Persistent and dangerous scammers

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8435697xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Recorded message saying that call was from HMRC doing an investigation, please contact- unlikely so assume it is a SCAM

I live in Finland and this number rings my business often always an Indian person with not good english and no Finish. they say they are from a different place everytime to do a sservey and ask if I can confirm with a yes or no if this is me. I never answer I always avoid yes and no and ask why they ring Finland for a servey when they cant speak the language. Its some kind of sales scam im sure of it
