Fraud Car accident Scalpers. Knew way more info than they should have, including names of other people in the house. Told them to remove me from their lists and hung up on me. Very aggressive when questioned, clearly a scam.

I reported HSBC to make a new debit card as I doubted my card's details were hacked last week. And a woman just rang me from HSBC by like Indian accent. I doubted HSBC wouldn't ring me like that. I told her to e-mail me and I hung up, and I blocked the number of 0345-600-8050, and I checked the number on this site. I already got a new debit card recently. Why did the genuine HSBC want to ring me now?

Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.
