This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. Call from someone claiming to be representing BitLuna.net and offering free £25 voucher if you join up and trade on their platform (but this comes with conditions so isn't really free). Google search suggests this is a cryptocurrency based Ponzi scheme. High risk of losing any investment you make with companies like this - best to ignore.

Ladies beware! Online dating scammer, he asks to transfer money to him, which can never be taken back. The plot he used with me is: An International security agent, Belgian living in the UK, who is deployed in Afghanistan. His bank account was blocked. then his enemies are tracking and attacking him.

Automated voice call said "this is your bank calling. There have been two transactions on your account this morning, one from Amazon and one from ........ for £1000.00. ...As you have no previous transactions with these companies ...press 1 to cancel, or talk to us, or 2 to...." I did not press anything and hung up. This is appears to be a dangerous banking scam/fraud.

Numbers 01182-302112 -308128 & -308140 are loft insulation scams. Phone rings and caller, a computer, hangs up if it doesn't hear a voice! If you answer "hello" or anything else, your line is then logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back sometime later by a con-artist! Whenever you don't recognize a number, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and the line goes dead, then you've just successfully escaped being scammed! Well done :-)

SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.

This was an automated call about a charge for Amazon Prime membership that had expired. I don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, so this was almost certainly a scam call.

I dialled this number back because I could not understand the woman and I got a message saying "if this number called you it was probably a hoax call" ???? i've never heard that before!

SCAM Southern english scammers currently calling themselves "fixed income team" also reached by calling 08003213781 (provided again to these crooks by Vodafone!). One of them has been pretending to be Evan Hanna of Merrill Lynch selling fake Diageo bonds.

Recorded voice stating unauthorised charges "made on your card". Total scam.
