Got charged £4.17 for a text to win a holiday - I'd been added to the competition! Total scam! Not sure how they got my number? I recently used my number to verify joining Instagram.
Have a feeling this is a scam, got a call out of the blue from Apex credit management, wanted my name, postcode and date of birth to work out if I'm on their system. Nothing popped up and apparently these three bits of information are all that's needed to set up bank accounts in your name etc
Had a message left to say it was tax credits and to call them asap. Tax Credits do not call you they always write to you BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM
