Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).
I arranged for them to come out (oven is minging lol) anyway they've not turned up and the number I was given has a message saying the account is blocked.

SCAM / SPAM Caller said had received information from the government that I have debts. When I replied that the government isn't allowed to provide information like this under GDPR got defensive. I then said that my number is on telephone preference service and to remove it from their computer system. Will wait to see if I get any more calls.
