SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

apparently from my bank re 2 fraud transactions on my account. never say which bank. i was supposed to click 1 or 2 depending on my answer, but walked away and left phone as I knew it was a scam. my banks never use a mobile number and would contact me via their apps or a landline which I recognise

Have received 3 calls recently, each one is a prerecorded American voice telling me I'm being investigated for DHSS fraud. It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,

I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.

SCAM. Received a text message purporting to be from the Post Office about a failed parcel delivery. This site shows the number being located in the Russian Federation.
Phoned to say money had been taken from my account to pay amazon and sent abroad, kept asking for my account number, told him i would phone the fraud dept at my bank and give them his number and they can talk to each other. He then rang off, now blocked this number.

Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)
