Had a call at 12 noon, foreign voice asked for me by name, would not tell me who was calling. He said he needed a few details. Before he could say anymore I asked where he got my phone number from. He wouldn't answer. I told him my number was registered with TPS and was ex-directory so where did he get the number. He hung up!! So fed up with these calls. Everyday we. Get at least one. Have had several calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data". They are just cold calling people with the hope of conning you - do not share your information with this outfit. What I do is when I have a spare minute I WITHHOLD my number and bombard these parasite with random calls. So If you can spare the time just keep calling these parasites back from a withheld number - see how they like it!

Company called Tenable. Had signed up for a free trial of one of their products and provided contact details. After phone call received an email, asked for details to be removed, got a swift response saying ok but reminding me that when I sign up for trials they may contact me using contact info provided afterwards.
BEC Had the name of person registered with business and wanted to talk about energy renewal, however, we haven't needed to deal with energy for x-amount of years due to renting space. So, fascinating yet not surprised on someone selling data.... Asked them to remove number from their list but don't know if it'll work.

The gentleman sounded like he was from Newcastle. DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL IT BACK!!!
