I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. I don't type or do anything but an English automated voice comes on says "sorry I didn't get that", this repeats indefinitely.. pretty sus for a number that's meant to be the counsel. SPAM Didn't know the number but called 3 times within 1 minute.
I received an unsolicited call from this number. The caller claimed to be selling stock shares/investment opportunities. The caller would not accept my no as an answer. I politely concluded the call and h8ng up. I cannot say that it is a scam but I have now blocked this number.

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.

SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

SCAM - I got a text saying I had missed a parcel delivery from the Post Office, funny as I am expecting a parcel today, but it is NOT the Post Office who is delivering it. Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
