Caller said she was called Rose but was clearly oriental. Claimed to be from TalkTalk and offered to sort out my PC "problem". She knew that I wasn t with TalkTalk and did know who provides my Broadband service. I checked with TalkTalk and received confirmation that this is not a TalkTalk number. Beware of calls from this number.

Received a text saying attempts to set up DD to gumtree for £1200- It appeared to come from the 'normal' Barclays text account. Tried the number, and was held in a queue.. so I rang off. And phoned Barclays - they confirmed it was not their number. They also pointed me in the direction of "Barclays Number checker" website. FOWLERS & IMMEDIATE CAR FINANCE - I don t drive or own a car and yet the text me at least once a week. This has been going on for a year, Ive reported them, Im on TPS (which you can do for mobiles) but they bypass that by constantly changing the name that apprears on their texts. Ive called them, but as I dont have an account (and NEVER WILL), they apparently can t take me off their cold call list. Utter bulls**t. Avoid at all costs.
