Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers

They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there s. "National Database" saying we haven t had free energy assessment that may lead to a grant for new boiler. Only database we re on is TPS so shouldn t have had a call. Other websites report the company as Dundee-based "Aspen Capital Consultants Ltd". Will report to ICO for 3rd time in 3 weeks.
