This number has rang me almost every day for the past few months because I don t recognize it I do not answer. they don t leave a message so it must not be important. I normally let it ring off but will watch for call in future and disconnect. Thanks for your comments and information

Claimed to be Amazon. It’s the iPhone 11, 12, 13 scam. Order on hold due to suspicious activity. £1400. Told him I was logged into my Amazon account and there was no suspicious order. I asked him if he was sure he was from Amazon and not Orinoco, Congo, Limpopo or some other river. But he didn’t seem to see the joke.
Two calls from this number on my work mobile; both answered and line dead.
HSBC - no specific department and just6 one of many numbers that will be presented as outgoing .

I always get calls from this number. When I answer the call, they cut the line. Everyday I get around 3 different new numbers starting with 01 and ending with 089.

SCAM female voice thanking me for renewing my Amazon Prime with a payment of £79.99 and then to cancel press 1, or about anything else press 2. As I DO NOT HAVE an Amazon Prime account this was obviously a phishing scam.

Got cold-called several times on my mobile by this number. Once I picked up it was a lady from sky trying to sell me some package. Not interested, I said. She kept calling several times. Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.
