This mobile number rang me today 16th may 23 then when I called it back the number came back unrecognised. Either a one way number ie one that can call you but you can’t call them back. Or possibly suspicious caller. Can’t use any headings above as I don’t know anything about this number yet.

Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
Must be a scam. Text saying EVRI parcel returned to branch.

They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
