Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.

Had a call from a male from this number yesterday asking about my Covid vaccination status and what life insurance I had. I told him that I was not willing to disclose this information to him and he got quite annoyed so I put the phone down. Have had another call from the same number this morning about debt management from what sounded like the same person but he used a different name. I told him I wasn't interested and stopped the call. Number is now blocked.

They said a large transaction was being approved, if this isn’t you, call the number After calling, the same electronic voice is used as Santander’s official line, they said “press 1 to speak with an agent” If you press 1, the line hangs up. Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.
