Ebay scam: you've allegedly purchased an expensive item which will be sent to a Manchester address. This number is the "ebay " assistance in case of problems etc.

Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.

I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. Recorded message about a charge on my paypal account and to press 1 to cancel. I pressed 1 to wind them up and she asked me if I wanted to cancel it. When I said yes she probably reconised my voice from other calls and hung up on me.

Someone who sounded asian rather than Armenian called and asked me to go to her website. There was so much background noise (usual noisy room full of scammers) I was unable to hear what she was saying except she asked if I bought and sold stocks and shares which I do. I told her I had never heard of her and trusted no one who cold calls me to sell me something. She said she had not told me what she was selling. I suggested she sent me an email as she claimed she knew all my details and hung up.

I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.
