Amazon SCAM call phishing for your details. Automated call, apparently from “Amazon” saying I had placed an order to be delivered to a different address to mine for £749.00. The activity was suspicious so blocked my account. Logged into my Amazon account using the official app and there is no such activity.
Probably a scam. A heavily accented voice (Indian call centre?) said he was from Sky and wanted to talk about my Broadband. I ended the call at that point.

SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

This is a scam they are driveway company based in Bodwin in Cornwall and are persistent with endless calls so beware.

Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.
