I asked for a house price quote via Zoopla and this William H Brown number called me. This company was one of the three from which I requested a quote, so no issue with that. Problem is I live overseas, which is why I stated I wanted to be contacted by email. Even WhatsApp would do. But that's the way they operate. They like to be in your face.
APPears to be a VISA scam call
It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. Purporting to be from “Bank Security”, regarding unauthorised transactions. Select option 1 if I authorised 2 high cost transactions, press 2 to speak to customer support, who spoke with a strong accent, asking me for personal details. I hung up.

07944341914 called 27 Jan 23 at 12:28 hrs. Female recorded voice claimed to be calling from Amazon about an order I'd placed for an iPhone......which I had not. The presentation and topic was very similar to a scam call a few years ago, Hung up.

My phone flagged this as Suspected Spam, so I didn't answer. I don't know anybody in this part of the country and it's the second unknown call from a mobile number in that area in a fortnight. Blocked.

The number called repeatedly at 4.30am this morning 18-05-2022. we had 9 calls including some that came after we blocked the number
Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.
