No one on the other end
Just got a call from this number telling me that I had made an overpayment of £2500 on my loan that I took in 2009. Then she started asking who I bank with and if the banks are either Barclays, Santander, Netwest etc. I wasn t even in the UK in 2009 so I started asking him questions on which loan I am due to a repayment on and then he hung up!

This is some general call centre, mostly reported with telesales, surveys and PPI - in most cases just robocalls, the company behind should be "I Love My Offers" but in fact just some general call centre calling in the name of multiple clients.

Obviously PPI re other comments..didn t/wouldn t bother answering a call on business phone when such a number appears...likewise unknown number showing, weird but they never leave voicemails lol
There is also another company that send all the scam texts and they are called Hypercross and surprise surprise their company director is called Alan Livesey. It looks like the brothers are behing the scams

This is a scam call! Automated voice claims to be HSBC and will issue a warrant for your request if you don t press 1! Beware!
Usual person asking for MR SMITH dont bother block this call with whatever method (none of them work for long , good arquement to ditch land lines and use mobiles where they can be blocked through true caller apps
