This number caller purports to be from BT. The caller tried to persuade me that a) they were from BT and b) that cyber-hackers were piggy-backing my internet connection to download illicit material without having to reveal who they are. I questioned them e.g. saying 'why should they need to use my line?' since it's so easy to download stuff anonymously from anywhere in most countries around the world. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Called by 01672565719 many times stated he was from BT.Twice at 8.00am over 5 days. then after second 8.00am call when I told him to get lost and stop hounding me. Later at 10.15am he rang again. Please do not trust this person because he will use someone else’s bank account and steal your money. This guy poses to sell stuff on internet but once you’ve transferred money over to this guy he’ll disappear and stop answering his calls or he’ll keep on saying next day and make stories up.
