Tried to say they were from a solicitor and were ringing me cos I was irresponsible in loans.They rang over 10 times yesterday and kept hanging up when I answered.Today they said this.I laughed and told them they were ridiculous.
Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.

He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer but they didn't leave any message on my answerphone. As it was a number local to me I called it back but BT said the number wasn't recognised so looks like a scammer
