I was called by this number and after a couple of rings, the call stopped. I telephoned back and it was answered by a male person with a Liverpool accent. I asked their name and what they do for work and they said that their name was Jerry and they were a warehouse worker. I advised that they had called me but they strongly said they did not. I believe this was a SPOOFING SCAM. I would advise anyone who receives anything like this to be on your guard and not give ANY personal information away .... not

This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. SCAM Robocall left partial message on my answerphone saying their fraud department had noticed a suspicious charge for £800 on my Visa card for online gambling in America. They had put the transaction on hold and if I wanted to reject the charge to press 1 and speak to their fraud department. Clearly a scam as I have no Visa cards.
