07711941794 called this morning claiming to be from bank security. I just hung up. I have had calls from various numbers claiming to be from bank security Saying they have had large sums of money from my card.
24 March 2023 got a message supposedly from my bank to say there had been an attempt to make a transaction to a famous Gym company in Aberdeen. I rang this number and got a woman with an AFro Caribbean sounding accent. Listened a while ,gave her no info and told her the line was noisy and would call back. Rang the fraud dept of my bank using the number on the back of my credit card and found out it was a big scam ............

No one else seems to have searched for it (the other search with no review was still me). I'm not completely sure. But this number doesn't appear anywhere on Google (while other legit places' number appear with the source). It feels very untrustworthy. The call on itself was strange. A machine voice said that a letter was returned, and that legal actions will be implemented. It didn't explain why would the return of said letter would require legal actions nor the content of the letter. Very iffy.
They claim to be eToro but... I don't know, not trustable

They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.
Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

Some woman spoke extremely fast with an Indian accent, the only word I could make out was repairs. I asked her to speak clearly and she hung up. This is the second call with a London prefix this afternoon. Scam callers are getting extremely annoying.

This number first will be an auto recording messaging saying it is from HMRC and if need to talk to a real person, press one. Then someone will ask your name and then says you are under legal charges and ask if any legal advisor will be with you. When you say to them that they are scam, they will cut off the line

Contacted regarding my amazon account and large order to being placed by I-phone. When asked what the order was for the caller became evasive and just said that it was for £737. When amazon orders were checked no such order had been placed and and no communication made. I consider this number dangerous.
A woman with a very foreign accent that I could barely understand, it sounded like she said she was calling from o2 but like I say could hardly understand her. I said I am not with o2 and will be reporting this call to the relevant authorities as it is an unsolicited call, she just said ok and bye.
