Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. SCAM not Not answer as it then programs your number into the system and you will get charged every time they call you. I have bloced the number as I called it from a prepaid sim card that I keep in an old phone for just this purpose. It is a phone number verification call.

Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.

The man said he was from the Anti Telemarketing Service in Cardiff (London no) and working with Landlines operators to stop unwanted calls, Indian call centres, international marketing, for a lifetime fee of £182.. I looked up the service...nothing on web. I don't believe it exists and thought it a scam but I cannot find a scam listing.
