The caller call extremely rude and abusive once I made it clear I wasn’t going to engage with her request to listen to her pitch. She called me a bitch a couple of times, went off on another tangent and hung up on me.

This is a Visa fraud scam. They tell you there has been unusual activity on you card from a betting company in the USA and to press 1 to talk to the fraud team. AVOID !!!!
This number (with slight variations on the last three digits) has called four times in less than 24 hours. Did not pick up, did not recognise the number but did find that, although the number comes up as United Kingdom, the number(s) are landline in Pskov, Russia. VERY SUSPICIOUS

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. DANGEROUS SCAM pretending to be from well known companies, asking questions and asking you to confirm your personal information and banking information. Do NOT divulge any information to them at all and do not call them back if you missed the call. BLOCK number as calls and texts are persistent.
I believe it is a scam. I blocked it as a nuisance call which I can only do on my landline. It kept ringing me every 15 minutes. No answer when I managed to pick up the call.

SCAM Received a call today (Indain as usual) about my Sky broadband being slow and this was a free check. Apparently my router has had many problems and is telling their server that my speed is slow!!!! Wanted to know my download/upload speeds and ping! I am not with Sky He was very slow and retarded When he said it was "completely free as I am a good customer who pays his bills every month" - I asked how much do I pay, he replied give me one moment and them 3 seconds later hung
