NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital Clydebank - a genuine call(!) - am amazed, in this day & age... Didn't answer (due to spammers/cold-callers) - however they phone a week b4 to confirm appointments. I checked this number out (including here) b4 calling then back. This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

The guy (very strong asian accent but his name is "Jason") said he was from my mobile provider, so I asked who, and he said EE, to which I replied I am not with EE as it doesn't work well in my area, he then said I was lying to him. He proceeded to say he could see everything etc and was kind of creepy, usually I don't swear at call centre staff, even dodgy ones, but this guy was creepy!
SCAM recorded call: "This is your bank's security dept ....Amazon payment ....card payment .... etc etc" Did not respond. Line went dead after a short time.

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

SCAM called from this number telling me that someone was trying to use my visa card online for a charge of £900 and asking me to press 1 to call them and confirm it wasn't me. Didn't call them but rang visa and they confirmed it was a scam. I think if you hit one they ring you back and scam you for your details then rip you off !

SCAM - twice had calls from this number with a recorded message saying I had been charged £79.99 by Amazon for Amazon Prime Services - hung up and contacted Amazon - call is not from them.
This company keeps calling and using the wrong surname. Then she asks me to answer yes or no to questions! Definitely think this is a scam especially as she called again today.
