Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

Recorded message played to me with usual '£700' suspicious charge from Amazon and '£2000' International Charge made on my Account etc. Ignored the request to respond. Telephoned the displayed number 15 minutes later, got 'unobtainable signal'. Note : an hour earlier had the same call but with a local Northampton number displayed. I called this number and the residents did not know anything about the Call. They reported it to BT for investigation.
