Indian call centre just rang me from this number claiming to be from an accident helpline. I asked where he got my number from, he said why are you asking me this question. I said I have a right to ask, he said you re a p***y and called me a b*stard and all sorts. I looked on the Ofcom numbering database and the number range is registered to JTEC UK LTD who guess what don t have a website or contact details on the net. I ll report this to BT and to Ofcom and to my telephone service provider.

Had a missed call, asked for my name and to press 1, when i gavew a fake name and pressed one, went through to a man who did not know i was calling, when i explained i had a missed call he asked for my full names and when i refused he did not want to take my call.

Called, asked if I am still using Sky, then hung up.

Friendly number, an operator that he was previously on the phone with told him that my number was the person trying to place an order. So he called the wrong number and was a very funny man, not scam or spam.

A machine called me from this number. I got the same recorded message on answering the call as you get if you call it back. The message claims that they are Supporter Insight UK and performing a survey on behalf of charities, but to rest assured, it was not an urgent call and they would call back. I am on the TPS register. I called the number on www.supporterinsight.com to complain. The guy there told me that they don t consult the register since they are not doing marketing calls (just surveys). M

Same as Bob s comments, except it s several different messages, mostly beginning with 0843. Have signed up for the Telephone Preference Service at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk so hopefully the nuisance calls will start to reduce in 28 days.
