I answered and they mentioned something about EE, then asked me how much I pay per month, I responded, no thanks I've just started a new contract. They then said "I never asked you to change your contract", I then said, I will stop you there and just tell you I am not interested, he then responded repeatedly, "GO FCK YOURSELF". I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.

Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc
