Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...
When I answered they hung up! So annoying, I assume spammers - I'm on the preference service too, so where do they get details from?
