Asian sounding girl, telling me her name is Karen, she's calling from Domestic blah blah (Other people have said this is a scam call supposedly from Domestic & General, about domestic appliance insurance) I quoted a few random elements from the Periodic Table at her, and she ended the call. Result!

English male knew my name. Claimed that he understood I had had government sponsored fibreglass loft insulation put in several years ago and wanted me to know that it was considered dangerous. Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.

Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one.
