SCAM called about washing machine insurance not the company we are with told him and he hung up. Called back the number to hear "thankyou for callng its ok an agent will be with you shortly" rang 3 times and hung up

I gave her false information about my phone, contract cost and provider and asked more questions that she could not answer she hung up. Number now blocked.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
Supposedly Bank Security, recorded message about 2 suspicious transactions, £300 on Amazon & £1100 for international money transfer. Usual format press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. Sick of these scammers!

If this number is an O2 number , I suggest that O2 pass on the details of the holder of that sim card to Amazon or the police...
