Picked this up on a missed call. As it was a local number I wasn't concerned. Message left stating that a payment to Western Union had been requested for £1000 +. This is obviously a cloned number. Number not recognised on ringing back. Will report to Fraud unit.

Text scam. Seems like text message from Royal Mail re missed delivery. Link in text takes you to what appears to be Royal Mail website ( but is not ) and says £1.45 needed for redelivery. I did not go any further but I presume the next step would have been a request for bank or card details. I checked with Post Office and they confirm they do not send texts for failed deliveries - they still leave cards.

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.
Called and left a message - wishing to discuss my domestic appliance insurance. These calls are at best unwanted Spam and at worst a Scam. Caller said would ring back - I've blocked the number - so will not get bothered again.

They said a large transaction was being approved, if this isn’t you, call the number After calling, the same electronic voice is used as Santander’s official line, they said “press 1 to speak with an agent” If you press 1, the line hangs up. Which I’m assuming should trigger a charge

Claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service. I asked them where they were and he said London. I asked how the weather was in London, and he said the weather was fine. This number came up on a pop up box when trying to install a new version of Microsoft Office on a Mac. It said you needed to ring the number for help or you would lose the product. This is not the case and this company has no affiliation with Microsoft. It is a scam to get your credit card info and gain access to your computer. Run a separate Google search and ring Microsoft’s real helpline number if this happens to you. If you’ve already given them access to your computer ring Action Fraud.

Scam call - woman rabbiting on about energy saving, need to send an energy consultant to my house to do a survey. 'Helen' good at talking but rubbish at listening! Asked her twice what is the name of her company but she kept talking fast.
