this number keeps calling me they are a pain.!

Automated scam pretending to be broadband provider. Blocked

Domestic appliance / Sky box insurance, according to reports on other sites.

You can easily stop these calls; Laithwaites, but on phoning back just an answer phone message which says your wine club tried to call you and to stop the calls, press 1 and leave the number and it will be removed from the list.

Rang mobile, answered, Indian lady, loads of background noise. I didn t speak, she kept saying hello, she hung up, I blocked

Asian guy named David,Asked for my mum as he was her grandson, giving 01619326141, to call him back. Asked what he was doing in Manchester(recognised dialling code)as i thought he lived in Liverpool. Told me he just moved. Kept him on phone for 5 mins before telling him that that would make him my son that i knew nothing about. Said that couldn t be possible, he then said why not was i impotent. Told him i got it cut off in an accident 45 years ago then he hung up, lol.s

Trying to sell Home Security devices which would ?guarantee a quicker response from the Police?...would cost ?6.00 a week....our salesmen (sic) in your area....when asked for a website where I could see more details he immediately terminated the call.

Phones at least twice a day for a week. Nobody on the other end. Presume they are block calling and when the first person answers, the other calls drop out... ?

Telemarketing company running scams PPI/Insurance reductions and automated messages, today is automated message, type a number to take offer or to stop calls, if you do this you will be charged extremely rates, block this caller they are a con company and if you fall for it they will sell your details, use to work for one of these companies.

This is a Marketing call they ring then it goes quiet then ring again i had 8 in 1 day!

No answer. Rang back and got a message saying "Your call is very important to me. Please hold whilst we transfer you to an agent."

Then said they had a report from the Road Traffic Management Department that some one at that post code had had a minor traffic accident. When told they were mistaken said goodbye and hung up. Spoke quietly with Asian accent

This Number rang my home today at 1306 hrs never left a message on answer phone - i have not heard of this company before and i have no idea why they would call a home phone number and not leave a message if the call was not dealt with ???

BROADBAND SCAM CALLS

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account. BEfore he had chance to put the phone down on me i asked him to confirm the number and address and name of who he had listed, and he came up with a name, address and postcode which are definitely not me. Thanks to posts on here I can safely block this number... It might be genuine... still cold-calling, infringing on me & my time... and I don t need a hearing aid!

My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. Their response was to advise if I don t want abusive calls don t use answerphone! Not sure who s the bigger waste of space, cretinous telemarketers or the Met.
