SCAM / SPAM Pre recorded message claiming to be from HMRC threatening you with arrest unless you press 1 on the keypad. I suspect the second you press 1 you will be connected to a premium rate call and end up with a whopping bill. Just hang up.

To STOP .......We were receiving calls on a daily basis from 0161 237 7500 and the message gives you 0161 236 2565 to be removed from call list. When you dial this number - it does not connect. After some digging on the internet (No1 Accident Claims Manchester) I found another number 0844 844 9199 - does not connect but hey oh two emails:- [email?protected] and [email?protected] Sent them a strongly worded email to get my number removed. Lets see whether it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. i live in the area where the call number originates from but its not from here its usually someone from liverpool or up north with crap about car accident etc etc, tried calling it back but puts you on hold with music playing and american voice every now and again saying your call is important please hand on if only people could find a real job rather than harrassing people on a daily basis

This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. Later I phoned this number, using 141 beforehand so they would not know who called, and a man answered...just an "ordinary sounding guy", no mention of an office/bank/or fraud squad. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..
