Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

Called me twice while I was on another call. When I called back just three minutes after he last called me he wanted to know who I was. He said I'd called him earlier in the day when he was in a meeting, even though I had made no outgoing calls at all that day. When I pointed this out he hung up. I believe he said he was "Henry Lane", and I have now blocked the number.

He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. Automated call say my debit card had been used abroad, gave option of numbers to press, didn't press any now phoning bank to check if problems, suspecting it to be a scam
'computerised voice' claimed to be from HMRC advising I was being investigated as part of an HRMC Fraud investigation and if I didnt 'press 1' to speak to one of their investigating team a warrant would be issued for my arrest shortly. Total scam !!
