Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Other numbers that called to same extent were 01330 560922 and 01689 814765, both equally as perplexing.
SCAM Some random guy called saying he was from the Covid vaccination line, he addressed me by my first and surname then asked if i had been vaccinated. All i said was "well if you're calling from the vaccination team you should know if i have been vaccinated or not" so he hung up!

Answered but nobody spoke. Called number back but as with many of these 07731 numbers recently, it was "not recognised". Can only assume it's not above board.

020 80583227 Spam / fraud / phishing call. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.
Missed a call from this number, but then rung it back and it was a restaurant that had no idea why I'd been called? V strange.

Said they were Amazon's crime on Parents phone no - they don't order from amazon I order on there behalf so definately most likely a scam.

This number called and simply cut off when answered. Checked on here but there were no comments. Called the number to find it wasn't recognised, as per an earlier call from a different number. I can only assume these are scam calls.

A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.
I believe this number to be a scam.

Scam Calls claiming to be virgin media, offering discount on virgin mobile, Asked if I use iPhone or Samsung I said I use a Bush washing machine, she asked how much I pay for virgin media, I said £2.50 a month, she asked if I want a new iPhone, I said an iPhone can't clean clothes? She hung up As a virgin media and virgin mobile customer it is very difficult to know if I am being called by virgin or a scammer. I no longer trust any caller to my phone and will only rely on them if I call them first
