First call was apparently from HMRC after I hung up I called the number back was a switch voice mail. Another call again just a regular voice mail. Although nobody talked the second time...

POSSIBLE SCAM A female caller "Jess" said she was from Solar Energy Advice Ltd , offering reduced cost equipment in return for using it in a promotion. I asked if she had heard of the TPS, and her silence indicated she had not. I told her that unsolicited calls to a TPS registered number, without checking the TPS list, could mean a £5000 fine for her company. Then I hung up. A Google search for the company name shows NO company with that name appears to exist in the UK.

Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

Caller said they were from O2. Said there was suspicious activity on my account, then a text turned up that looked to have come from O2. The text had a code number that they wanted to "prove I was the account holder. I'm sorry. This is an obvious scam. They'd use that code to hijack my account, change the address, and order as many high end phones and tablets as O2 would let them. I received a call from 01174418934, rang two times and I picked up, then they hanged up. Highly likely that this is a scam or fraud attempt -- the real fraud will begin when/if you call them back. I do not recommend calling back this number. Fraud SPAM SCAM
